This little booklet shows how to construct a complete act based on a bookcase full of large books which contain the magic props used in the show. Adapts to nearly any magic effects you may already have.

The Jarrows (Dick, Jean, Charles, and Janie) set out with the goal of designing an act that is completely flexible and adaptable. What they came up with is this: The Magic Bookcase. This act is structured so that it can be performed by anyone, use any tricks, be any length, cost any amount, and be changed at a moments notice to suit the audience or other circumstances. It is a structure that can be used to perform anything and still have a cohesive, themed, and well-structured act. This is an excellent act for kid shows or adults. Use tricks you already have, but could never find a way to write into an act! All patter and presentation included. A prize winner, several times over.
